Improving visibility to support patient flow

The CWS is designed to support secondary triage and coordination within the emergency department, enabling hospital teams to receive early notifications when a case is en route, follow real-time updates, and prepare resources in advance of patient handover. This ensures that incoming patients are prioritised and managed efficiently, particularly during periods of high demand. From their workstations, hospital staff can track the patient journey, monitor ambulance progress, and receive alerts or messages from field teams. Two-way communication enables rapid clinical advice, while real-time updates on status and location allow hospitals to anticipate needs, plan staffing, and improve triage efficiency.
