1985
Ortivus is founded with the aim of developing, manufacturing, and marketing a unique system for monitoring patients with ischemic heart disease – MIDA (Myocardial Ischemia Dynamic Analysis). The initial development is carried out in collaboration with the Foundation for Medicine & Technology at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg.
1995
MobiMed is launched on a full commercial scale in the Swedish market.
1998
MobiMed PWS-1000, the world’s first portable telemedicine terminal for prehospital use, is launched. Ortivus UK is established to introduce MobiMed to the UK market.
2001
As the first company in the world, Ortivus presents a medical device with integrated Bluetooth technology – MobiMed 300.
2006
Ortivus is selected as the supplier for the world’s largest healthcare IT project, NHS Connecting for Health in the UK.
2019
Ortivus signs an agreement to implement MobiMed ePR nationally in Singapore.
2022
Ortivus signs an agreement to implement MobiMed ePR on iOS nationwide in Estonia.
2024
MobiMed 5, the next generation of electronic patient records, is deployed in Norrbotten with integration to Cambio Cosmic.
